About PawViral

PawViral is an independent animal entertainment and pet-information website built around a simple idea: make pet content enjoyable to explore while keeping factual guidance clearly separated from fictional entertainment.

What you’ll find here

Our site combines four types of content. Pet-care guides explain everyday behaviour, enrichment, grooming and welfare topics using reputable sources. Interactive quizzes provide either educational practice or light entertainment. Original stories feature recurring PawViral characters such as Niko the Husky, Cleo the Cat and Oscar the Golden. Videos bring selected fictional moments to life.

These sections serve different purposes, so we label them differently. A fictional story should never be mistaken for a report of a real incident, and a fun personality quiz should never be mistaken for professional animal-behaviour advice.

How our pet-care content is prepared

For factual pet-care pages, the PawViral Editorial Team researches the topic, checks important claims against reputable animal-welfare, veterinary, breed or research sources, and links to those sources where useful. We aim to explain the subject in our own words rather than simply repeating other websites.

Pet-care pages are written for general education. They are not a diagnosis, treatment plan or substitute for advice from a veterinarian or qualified behaviour professional who can assess an individual animal. When a topic involves urgent symptoms or safety, we encourage readers to seek professional help rather than rely on a web article.

How we use AI

PawViral uses generative AI as a creative and production tool for some illustrations, fictional stories, entertainment characters and videos. When realistic AI-generated material could reasonably be mistaken for a real event, we disclose that it is fictional or AI-generated. AI assistance may also be used to help organise drafts, but factual pet-care content should be checked against the sources linked on the page before publication.

Our goal is not to mass-produce pages for search engines. We focus the site on pets and animal behaviour, update existing pages, connect related content, and remove unfinished or misleading material when we find it.

Our recurring characters

Niko the Husky is dramatic, vocal and energetic. Cleo the Cat is curious and mischievous. Oscar the Golden is affectionate, optimistic and frequently convinced that enormous sticks belong at home. Other PawViral characters appear in selected stories and quizzes. These characters are entertainment creations and should not be treated as records of real animals or events.

Corrections and updates

Pet knowledge changes and web pages can become outdated. If you spot a factual error, broken source, accessibility problem or misleading description, please use our contact form. We review correction requests and update pages when reliable evidence supports a change.

Editorial independence

Advertising does not determine the conclusions of our pet-care pages. If advertising is introduced, it will be kept visually separate from editorial content. We do not present paid placements as independent advice.

Ongoing maintenance

PawViral reviews older pages as the site grows. We update links and source notes, improve thin or unclear pages, remove unfinished placeholders, and keep entertainment content clearly separated from factual pet-care guidance. New pages are not published simply to increase page count; each page should add a distinct topic, story, quiz or practical use.
